What Makes Rain?

Students drew the water cycle, placed H2O in the bag. Now time to observe
H2O
by Ralph Fletcher
The recipe
for water is the same as
it’s always been:  two parts
hydrogen one part
oxygen.  Two-to-one
that’s the rule to make a water
molecule

What Makes Rain?
Condensation: Water vapor cools as it rises, and tiny drops of water form clouds.
Evaporation:Water evaporates from the lake and changes to water vapor.
Precipitation: The water gets too heavy for the clouds and falls as rain or snow.
 Water Cycle

Water Cycle
Accumulation: Water on the ground flows back to the lake through the rivers and streams.
